Helland House is a newly refurbished Georgian home. It has two guest bedrooms; one double and one twin, both ensuite with modern bathrooms.

Both rooms have TVs and wireless internet connection. There is a comfortable drawing room with an open fire for the sole use of guests.

Breakfast and dinner on request is served in the airy kitchen. Delicious, locally sourced organic ingredients are cooked on the Aga by the owner who trained at the Gordon Ramsay owned Tante Marie School of Cookery.

The house is situated in a peaceful rural setting on a quiet country lane close to the popular village of North Curry. Within walking distance is a popular pub the 'Bird in Hand' serving local ales and good food, coffee/craft shop, village store and exceptionally pretty church; known locally as the 'Cathedral of the Moors'.

Helland is well located for drivers wanting to break their journey down to Cornwall as it is only ten minutes from the M5 and A303.

The Somerset levels are close by and walkers can enjoy wonderful views and sightings of wildlife. The RSPB reserve is a ten minute drive away. http://www.rspb.org.uk/reserves/guide/w/westsedgemoor/index.asp.
